Welcome to Bamboo-Adelaide (LYC)
Bamboo-Adelaide is a non-profit club, established to promote friendship between males 18 years and over of Eastern and Western origin, through social, cultural, sporting and educational events, and to offer mutual help and support. We're not a dating club, but if you happen to click
with someone you meet at one of our events, that's great.
Our social activities include picnics, bush walking, BBQ's, beach parties, members' house parties, restaurant outings, sporting activities, karaoke nights, etc. Most of our activities are very casual and are held in non-scene environments.
People interested in giving the club a go are welcome to attend any of our Events. There is no obligation to join, and you're more than welcome to bring friends/partners along. If you decide to join as a
member, there is a small
annual membership fee of $10 for singles / $15 for couples. This helps to cover our running costs, and any remaining funds will no doubt be returned to the
members in the form of prizes or special events.
We are now affiliated with Long Yang Club International. This opens up all sorts of networking opportunities for those of us travelling
interstate or overseas. Our membership is recognised by other LYC Chapters around the world, so not only will we be able to join in on their activities,
but wherever we go, we'll have friendly, helpful contacts for information and support.
